What is in the JEE PYQ bank
Every question from JEE Main January and April sessions, 2015 through 2025. That is approximately 7,500 questions across Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, each tagged with: the exam date and shift, the chapter, the topic, the difficulty level, and the time most toppers take to solve it.
Every question has a step-by-step AI solution plus links to related chapters and similar questions. Explanations are pedagogy-first: they show the approach, the common mistake students make, and the mental shortcut if one exists.
Filter and search
Filter by subject (Physics/Chemistry/Maths), by year (2015-2025), by shift (Jan Shift 1/2, April Shift 1/2), by chapter (Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Organic Chemistry, etc.), or by topic (Rotational Motion, Wave Optics, Stoichiometry, etc.).
Combine filters: 'Give me 20 Physics questions on Thermodynamics from the last 3 years, medium difficulty'. The PYQ engine supports this kind of query and builds a focused practice set.
- Filter by year, subject, chapter, topic, difficulty
- Toppers-time estimate per question
- AI-generated step-by-step solutions
- Common mistake warnings on tricky questions
- Linked related questions for deeper practice
- Attempted/unattempted status tracked per user
How JEE aspirants use the PYQ bank
JEE Main repeats concept patterns, not exact questions. The value of PYQs is pattern recognition — after solving 500 PYQs from one chapter, you start predicting the question before reading the options. That's why our engine sorts PYQs chapter-first, not year-first.
Recommended approach: after finishing a chapter in your NCERT/coaching material, solve 30-50 chapter PYQs from the bank. Flag any question where you took more than 5 minutes or got the answer wrong. Revisit flagged questions weekly until your solve time drops below 3 minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are all JEE Main shifts included?
Yes. Every January and April shift (Shift 1 and Shift 2) from 2015 through 2025 is in the bank. Each question is tagged with its exact exam date and shift so you can track patterns in how NTA rotates difficulty.
How accurate are the AI solutions?
Solutions are verified against published IIT expert solutions for 60% of the bank, AI-generated and human-reviewed for the remainder. Correctness is high; if you spot an error, there is a flag button on every solution page.
Is JEE Advanced PYQ also available?
JEE Advanced PYQs from 2015-2025 are included as a separate filter. The Advanced question bank is smaller (approximately 1,500 questions) but significantly harder. You can toggle between Main and Advanced mode in the filter panel.
Do you have year-wise full papers for JEE Main?
Yes. Under Mock Test → JEE → Year-wise PYQ, you can attempt any past shift as a timed full-length mock with the original question order, options, and timing. After submission you get the same analysis as our pattern-matched mocks but against the real exam.
How is this different from Arihant or Disha PYQ books?
Four differences: (1) Digital search across 7,500 questions vs flipping pages. (2) AI explanations that show mental shortcuts the books rarely include. (3) Live filter by difficulty and year. (4) Free vs ₹400-800 for the books. Use a book if you prefer paper; use Coachingle for filter-driven targeted practice.
Can I mark questions to revisit?
Yes. Every question has a bookmark button. Bookmarked questions appear in your 'Revisit' section with the reason you flagged them (wrong answer, too slow, unclear concept). You can re-attempt them as a timed mini-test.
